Was der Domain-IP-Lookup prüft

  1. Enter a public domain such as example.com, without a path or private host name.
  2. DN01 queries A and AAAA records and groups IPv4 and IPv6 addresses separately.
  3. Copy the result URL when you need a stable handoff for DNS, CDN or support tickets.

Domain-IP-Signale

Finde die IP-Adresse einer Domain für DNS-, CDN- und Produktionsprüfungen. The lookup focuses on DNS address records, not WHOIS ownership or full propagation across every resolver.

When to find domain IP addresses

Use the lookup before a DNS migration to confirm which public addresses a hostname currently publishes.

Run it after CDN, hosting or load-balancer changes to compare expected edge addresses with live DNS answers.

Share it with support teams when users report that a domain reaches the wrong server or network path.

Troubleshooting address mismatches

If the result is empty, confirm the hostname is public and has A or AAAA records. Some service names only publish CNAME records first.

If addresses differ from your provider dashboard, check TTL, split DNS, CDN flattening and whether you are looking at apex or www.

If only IPv4 or only IPv6 appears, verify whether the missing family is intentionally disabled for the service.

A, AAAA and real traffic

A records map a domain to IPv4 addresses, while AAAA records map it to IPv6 addresses. Browsers and clients may choose either family depending on network support.

CDNs often return provider edge addresses rather than origin server IPs. That is expected and usually protects the origin from direct exposure.

For a complete launch review, pair this tool with DNS Checker, SSL Certificate Checker and HTTP Header Checker.

Domain IP workflow

  1. Check A and AAAA records with Domain IP Lookup.
  2. Open DNS Checker for the wider record set.
  3. Verify SSL for the same hostname.
  4. Inspect headers if traffic reaches an unexpected edge or origin.

Domain IP Lookup vs dig

dig is excellent for terminal users and resolver-specific diagnostics. DN01 gives a quick browser result with copy buttons and localized explanations.

DNS Checker shows many record types at once. Domain IP Lookup is narrower and easier when the only question is which IP addresses a domain resolves to.

WHOIS identifies registration data; it does not tell you the live A and AAAA addresses that clients use.

Why use DN01 Domain IP Lookup

  • Fast A and AAAA lookup with IPv4 and IPv6 grouped clearly.
  • Stable result pages for tickets, audits and deployment notes.
  • Fits the existing DNS, SSL, header and blacklist workflow in the same interface.

FAQ

Domain IP Lookup FAQ

Answers about finding IPv4, IPv6 and CNAME records for a domain.

How do I find the IP address of a domain?

Enter the domain name and run the lookup. DN01 queries DNS and highlights A records for IPv4 and AAAA records for IPv6.

Does this show IPv4 and IPv6?

Yes. IPv4 addresses appear under A records and IPv6 addresses appear under AAAA records when the domain publishes them.

Why do I see a CNAME instead of an IP?

A CNAME points the hostname to another canonical hostname. Follow the alias with DNS Checker or DIG when you need the full chain.

Is this the same as IP Calculator?

No. This tool starts with a domain and finds DNS address records. IP Calculator starts with an IP address or CIDR block and calculates subnet details.
